Absolute and total rip-off! So far, I have basically given thousands of dollars just to have my stuff stolen from a moving company. This is easily the worst moving company I have ever worked with and I urge anyone reading this, please, please, please, spend your money with someone else!
First, the estimate...
Rosa came over to my house not once but twice to make sure the estimate was as accurate as possible. The second time she came over we were nearly 100% packed up, so it was just counting and creating a list of items for the estimate.
The estimate was $5,002.50
When the movers came, they initially laughed about the estimate. Then they started packing everything up. They were almost entirely packed up and the lead guy came up to me and said the total was going to be nearly $8,000. Rosa our "estimator" was off by $3,000!!!! Seriously?? I told him no way, take my stuff off the truck and forget it. He then came back and said, well, we can do $5,600 but I can't move your couches, they won't fit.
So now we're $600 over but not moving two couches, one love seat, one armchair, and an oversized ottoman... Did Rosa miss that large set of furniture right in the middle of my living room?
Finally, needing to get the move going. I said fine and went with it. Needing to get out of my house that day and on my way to California, I asked the lead mover if his guys could help me move the couches outside so I could just put a free sign on them (there goes more of my money). He said not to worry, then proceeded to wrap them up and put them in the moving van because he knew a guy that might want them... so they did fit?
Literally, right in front of my eyes, the movers STOLE my couches and charged me more to do it!
We are now 10 days later and my stuff hasn't even left Houston. When I call to get an update, all I get is the run around. We'll call you later. You need to call between 3-5pm. Sorry you called after 3 and we're closed. Someone will be here to pick it up tomorrow. No, no one has picked it up yet. Every single person I have talked to has been rude and decidely uncaring. I am sorry to inconvenience you, but I'd like to know where my stuff is.
Oh, did I mention they promised me that it would be delivered 5 days ago!!
I am nearing the point of writing off all of the stuff I had shipped and just filing a fraud claim.
Do not choose these fraudsters. They will take your money, steal your stuff, and never fulfill any promises. They are an absolute joke.

After I filed a this report, I was contacted over the phone by Kevin from All Services Movers. He started the call by berating and cursing me out. Then he went on to say that they no longer were willing to move my stuff, and that they would not give me a refund. He said that this was slander and that I needed to come pick my stuff up.
I reminded Kevin (Kevin@AllServicesMovers.com) that it isn't slander when it is the 100% truth and that we had a contract in place for them to move my stuff. I had already moved with my family 2000 miles away and all I wanted in the world was for my stuff to get there with me.
Kevin called me back the next day and apologized. I told him the whole story of how we had been let down by his company and just wanted to get the experience over with. During this time he seemed very much like he was willing to help us get to that point, like he really did care about our experience and making it right. He assured me that because the couches were on our inventory sheet, that it was in my head that they had indeed not been stolen in front of my eyes as I mentioned before. He offered a $300 discount on the services to make up for the poor customer service and told me he would work to get my stuff on a truck that week. He also told me that Rosa had been fired because she set up the wrong expectations and told people the wrong things regarding costs and delivery dates. He also said he would talk to his customer service people and movers to make sure they are more professional moving forward.
As you can imagine, I felt so relieved that this would be over and that they were going to take great care in making this a more positive experience... I could not have been more wrong!
They sent over a release form for the $300 discount that basically said I couldn't sue them for any of the problems I had with them up to date and that I would modify or remove any of the reviews I put up (which is what I am doing now, but probably not the modification they were hoping for). I was fine with this, but wanted some of the wording updated before I would sign it.
The day had come for my stuff to finally leave Houston, but it didn't. It was delayed again for some reason. I didn't get a call or update, or anything, but it was another delay. A week passed and still nothing. I emailed Kevin and called Kevin, you can imagine I am now getting pretty desperate. I didn't really care about my stuff, but my wife, and in-laws had stuff that went back decades, if not centuries, packed and they meant a lot to the family. All we wanted was to actually get our stuff delivered! This shouldn't be that hard. It had almost been a month at this point.
So I ask Kevin for another reduction in the cost. He says he understands and will run it by the management. It of course gets denied. Still no stuff. They send an updated release form and I tell Kevin I won't sign it and that I would happily pay for the extra $300 in order to reserve my right to sue them. He says that is fine, but still can't provide a date for my delivery. He says my stuff has left Houston, but gives me no details.
At this point I am panicking, I just want my stuff and I am afraid I will never get it. I give in and sign the form, get it notarized and I email a picture of it to Kevin. Guess what, I get a call from a delivery driver that day saying my stuff will be delivered the next day. Now, I don't know if this signing of the form in order to get my stuff delivered amounts to the legal definition of extortion or some form of coercion, but it absolutely felt like that to me.
At this point, I am just excited that a delivery is on the horizon. We're scheduled for a 5:30pm delivery on Wednesday July 9th (21 days after it was promised to be delivered, 3 weeks everyone!). I get a call at 6pm on July 9th from the driver Victor (who in all honesty is a very good man and I only wish the best for him and his team) that they are still in Monterrey, CA on a delivery and wouldn't make it until the next day. I am frustrated, but this is the very first time in my entire experience that I have received a call to update me on a problem. We make arrangements for delivery the next morning at 7am.
It's 7am, Victor and his team arrives. Victor is a stand up guy who does a great job meeting with me and my wife. I have to leave to go to work, but my wife an in-laws are there to direct the delivery. I assume all will go fine... again, I was wrong.
I get a call two hours later from my wife who is on the phone crying. Without any exxageration, 40-50% of our stuff is damaged beyond repair. I don't know what happened to it, but it looks very much like it was intentionally destroyed. Boxes of well wrapped stuff look like someone took a hammer or bat or something to them. Dressers the same. Desks the same. Couches are missing (but we all knew that was going to be that case with the earlier feeling of theft). Parts to our bed are missing (enough that we can't put it together). Parts to our baby's crib are missing. Boxes and boxes of damages. My mother in law in tears over items lost or destroyed in the move.
This is how they treat customers who complain.
We are now in the claims process and will likely end up in court with All Services Movers Inc. It is a story that can never seem to end. What a terrible, terrible, terrible moving company.
Even if this report is the only thing I can do to help others be aware and avoid this company, then I will feel better about it.
