In September of 2017, we had an electrical problem with a new electric panel that we were charged $2,500 for.  We had a different electrical company come out to take a look at the new panel.  The electrician stated that the electric panel was a fire hazard and he, in good conscience could not leave it the way it was.  This is the specific reason we asked if we could use our own electrician when the work was being done but we were told no.

The owner, Anthony Petrucelli mentioned that they work on their reputation and stated that he could come over to fix any problems but we decided that first off, we did not want the original electrician, who caused these problems, to work on the electric panel again and also, we did not want the contractor to work on the panel because as far as we know, he is not a certified electrician so we did not call him back.

The owner even asked if someone else had gone into that panel and did anything to it which is ludicrous as no one in my family knows anything about electrical work and this was the whole reason we wanted a certified electrician to do the work on our house.

The second electric company stated that the fuses were installed incorrectly, they were the wrong size for our panel and also, the electrical wires were not only different sizes, they were installed like a birds nest.

We had reached out via certified mail asking to be reimbursed $700 for the cost of the work that the new electrical company corrected and were told that we owed a balance and were provided a bill for an outstanding balance that 1) we had never seen before, 2) was dated the day our final payment was made and 3) on our final check, it clearly states that this was a final payment and the owner accepted that check.  In addition, the owner stated we owed him him for revisions to plans that had to be resumbitted because they were submitted incorrectly which is not our fault.

We do not understand why All South Florida would accept that check as final payment on the same day the company supposedly produced an invoice, which again, we had never seen before the company replied to our initial complaint, especially when it stated Final Payment and all the other items covered in that payment.  We are confused how they would not have pursued complete reimbursement for anything that they though might be outstanding until we sought reimbursement for having to use another electrician.

Throughout the entire process, the contractor was paid whenever they requested a payment and immediately paid them for any changes and/or additions we made along the way.
