I brought my 77 buick La saber into this establishment for a minor tune-up which consisted of an oil change ,a check of all the filters, and the the plugs changed. My car was running pretty well when I brought it in I just knew it had been a while since all of the above mentioned had been done. After they had fininished they had an exceedingly long list of things that where very wrong with my car. Some of which I had just had done (my brakes had just been re-shoed and bled). They proceeded to tell me that my brakes where so bad that I would probably kill someone that very day because they would fail.(

I just happened on this "Rip Off" report and did not no it existed. I don't know the name or the date of the report so it is difficult to verify this person's problem bu I do have some comments and suppositions: 1.) Our business is a member of the Better Busines Bureau in Waco and I have no record that the customer filed a complaint with them. Perhaps if the customer followed this procedure he/she might have received some satisfaction. 2.) The customer mentioned that he/she had "my licensed mechanic" look at the car.I question why he/she didn't have this licensed mechanic work on the 1977 Buick prior to bringing it to our shop.
I need more info to properly and correctly respond to this allegation. Thank you for your consideration.
