All United Van Lines Liars, Deceivers, RipOff company Chatsworth, California

This company moved my daughter's things from Virginia to Washington State.  They picked up the items in June and finally delivered them 6 days after the estimated delivery date in July.  They did not weigh the items until Arizona and the "estimated" weight doubled and so did the cost!  How are we to know that they didn't pick up another load for someone else?

When the truck finally delivered the items, the boxes looked like they had been dropped from the truck going 70 miles/hr and run over.  The mattress was strapped to the outside of the truck.  Numerous items never arrived and they can not give us any explanation.  They said "file a claim".  So we did - got all the required estimates, etc. Mailed it on 11/29/11 by priority mail.  Just received it back on 1/5/12 and the USPS had attempted delivery twice but the "addressee" had moved and left no forwarding address.  So 6 months later, we have overpaid for items that were never delivered and now can't submit the claims. 

Web site has been changed or deleted.  They will not answer the phone or e-mails.  From reading other reports on this company we need to somehow file a class action lawsuit. 
DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY - WHATEVER NAME THEY ARE USING NOW!
