Rip-off Report contacted the State of Florida and found that All Year Electric, Inc, does indeed have an electrical contractor's license and is in good standing with the state. We also learned that the person filing this complaint never did business with the company. The charges made here were completely false. The reports posted were all posted by the same person using different email addresses .. but, they were all posted from the same IP address.. !! Rip-off Report does not condone this kind of behavior. All Year Electric Inc. Botched my new home wiring job, and are now suing me for telling the truth on the web Fort Lauderdale Florida

All Year Elect Inc. /All Year Cooling and Heating Inc. owned by Tom Smith wired the new home I purchased and they did a poor job to say the least. The home was riddled with problems. Rooms with no power, breakers not working, dryer not wired correctly, kitchen not to code, missing switches not to plan, missing phone jacks. Wires sticking out of the ground and the list go on. They sent two inexperienced workers to argue with me who after several weeks and attempts they were able to fix most of the problems. This company is dangerous they send out workers who are guessing what to do and must return to repair what they just repaired. I felt that they were basically trial and error type of guys. I would not recommend this company and to add insult to injury they do not possess a license of their own. All Year Elect Inc uses the license of Randy Miller CC Number: 94-CME-1506-X Master Electrician Contractor. As legal as this may seem think about this arrangement, Randy Miller is compensated by All Year Electric Inc. to operates under his license he is allowed to "qualify up to two" business or people at any given time. He has no obligation to oversee, train, observe or even be aware of what All Year Elect Inc. is doing or that they are getting permits in his name. This is giving All Year Electric the power to do as they please with Mr. Millers License. This raises the question how much compensation is necessary to allow All Year Electric to operate under Mr. Miller's license then the next question is how does All Year Elect compensate for this overhead? Are you really getting the professional job you paid for I doubt it? I was mistreated, told I did not know what I was talking about and left to wait until they had time to return several times on their schedule to repair the problems. I was forced to involve the building department to ensure the job got done. Even after the building department called them they dragged their feet and made the job as many trips and inconvenient as possible. I only wish to warn others of the true bull that I went through and suggest people look elsewhere for electrical repairs. Ensure the company has their own license and are in good standing with the building department. The state of Florida allows licensees to rent out their license it is up to the customer to ensure the people doing the work are experienced (good luck). The Building Department and the DBPR see no problem with this. It is like giving someone your driver's license and telling the officer you're sure that person can drive, without any test or qualification whatsoever.
