allaxxxess.com ,webjtcharge.com Used credit card to authenticate age for no charge and found $39.98 charge twice Internet

In late December I visited the site www.allaxxxess.com and used my credit card to verify my age. The site plainly stated that there would be no charge to my account. A bad judge of character on my behalf I know.

While on break, I decided to check my credit card limit to know whether I could purchase an item or not. To my dismay, I found that I was over my limit. I searched through my previous statements and found two entries I did not recognize: PAY-WEBJTCHARGE . I did not recognize this entry.

I researched further online and found that the web site www.allaxxxess.com probably uses the web site www.webjtcharge.com to process their password database. I do not know if it was an error by either company, but I have now been billed twice by webjtcharge.com . I now have to go through my credit company and dispute these two charges and hope that they are removed. If they are not removed I will have to pay $108.96 in fees I did not authorize

Although this situation is extremely embarrassing to me, I filed this report to warn others and to hopefully someone can use my testimony to file a class action suit against the offending company(ies) and prevent this from happening to anyone else. I tried contacting the company who charged me based on the number provided to me through the charge on my statement, 866-812-8679, but found that the number had been disconnected. I have no other known way to contact the offending company and I wish to settle this in as much of a dignified manner as possible.

This is sadly my example amongst many others on why you should never give your credit information away online.
