Alleviate Van Lines ,All American Van Lines Items still being held hostage somewhere between Chicago and Virginia San Jose California

I too am still waiting for my furniture since July 13, 2008. Per my conversation with Angie on Friday, it would be no later than Monday, which is today. No surprise the mover is not answering his cell phone.

I too have felt that Angie needs a lesson in customer service. Every time I call she acts like I am interrupting her, that is of course when she answers her phone as the voice mail box is always full and not accepting new messages. How do these employees sleep at night knowing they are conning the general public? Would they want to be treated like this? Rachel was so nice to get the business then all of sudden during the delays she no longer has my file.

Originally my stuff was delayed because the truck was delayed leaving Texas to get to CA. That was a week. Then the items were to be delivered within 4-5 days after it finally got to CA. On day 5 I called and the truck was broke down in Chicago, where it has been for the past 2 weeks waiting on parts ( so the driver says) Angie said it was routine maintenance. 2 Weeks for maintenance?. It was supposed to go to NY and then, VA, but because they are late they said they are coming to VA first. Well, last time I checked it was 700 miles from Chicago to VA how many days does it really take drive 700 miles? Still waiting on that part?
