Alliance illegally misrepresents hidden glucose study as only beverage study to underpay 66% plus. Scam, rip off alert! Beverage weight loss study three months misrepresentation, unethical, fraudulently does not disclose true impact, meaning, disguised, hidden, real study of glucose and study does and not pay fairly. Healthy volunteers are told supplement hibiscus in water is for weight loss when in truth you are told to drink two 75 grams of sugar and wait three hours to have a total of 10 vials of blood drawn before you drunk an ounce of beverage. Alliance pays $375 . In comparison Profil pays $900 plus travel expenses for same glucose study. Totally not worth anyones time to wait almost five hours and being poked by inexperienced phlebotomist leaving a scar in my vein for $75. Never even apologised to me although I thanked her numerous times. No one offered me water so I got water for urine sample. If alliance had disclosed volunteer had to imbibe two 75 grams of glucose plus drink four cases of sour water, get poked to draw over 20 vials of blood, periodic checks ups for $375 no one would do it so volunteers is misled by alliance. Class action suit sought. Company did a glucose study covertly, insisdiously, profiteering and not disclosing to volunteer.

My apologies that your experience did not meet up to your standards.  We, as a company, pride ourselves on excellent patient care.  In an effort to comply with HIPAA regulations, we would prefer not to discuss your experience on a public forum.  Therefore, we invite you to return to the office or give us a call to review the informed consent document, which you voluntarily signed at your initial visit.  This document was reviewed by our local Institutional Review Board who found the compensation to be adequate and non-coercive.  Additionally, we can assure you that the study to which you participated was a single-site, investigator-initiated trial that no one in the US or abroad is also performing.  All the best, Physicians of ARC.
