Our business keeps getting calls from ALLIED INTERSTATE COLLECTIONS on our BUSINESS PHONE LINE. These calls usually start with a beep and eventually turn into a recorded message that this is an important personal matter and leaves a TOLL FREE NUMBER (that we should ALL call as many times a day as time permits to run up their phone bill and clog their lines). After calling you are put on hold because they are too busy to talk to you after calling you and asking you to call them back.

Once a real person answers it's the scum of the earth debt collector that is so jaded and cynical they wouldn't believe you if you said the sky was up. Trying to inform them that they are calling the wrong number was useless so I guess they will continue to interrupt our business with their self serving calls, waste our time and possibly lose us customers and cost us money. Can't some Federal agency do SOMETHING!!?? I see some states have taken them on but why doesn't our Federal government do something. It seems like the Federal Communications commission or the Federal Trade commission should do something.
