For the past year I have been sending Allied Marketing Group Inc. Sweepstakes Clearing House $10.00 a month towards a RCA 3-CD SS Rack-Oak which they call lay-away. I made my last payment this month and as of yet I have not heard anything from this company nor have I received any product.
Now I am getting very suspicious about this company. They said they would ship the product as soon as they receive the balance.
Something should be done about these frudulent companies and there should be a strict penalty for this type of corruption going on in these so called companies towards hard working consumers.
I am very disturbed by this incident and want to take action towards this fraudulent company.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
I worked here for over a year. questionable practices and left
AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

I worked at Allied Marketing Group for over a year and became fed up with the company's questionable practices and left voluntarily. There are many good people employed there however the upper management profits off the customer's ignorance and naivet. You will get your stereo eventually. If not the same one you ordered, they will admirably upgrade it. If you call and demand action, the upgrade will be given immediately. If not, ask for a supervisor. Mention the Better Business Bureau and they will move as they are constantly threatened with this and since they're constantly under investigation, they will do all possible to avoid them (the BBB). If you are unhappy with the product, demand that they return to pick it up. They will try to get you to do it at your own expense but you will win with persistence.
