allstate automobile insurance price increases 2016 high rate increases due to "low cost of gasoline' Nationwide

Allstate automobile insurance increased their price rates for Pennsylvania drives by 8-10% for the year 2016--because, I was told, " the consumer is paying less for gasoline now".  The Allstate national rep stated that since gas prices are lower, the company seen this as an oppurtunity to increase prices.  I'm an older individual, never has a car accident, make payments on time--or more often ahead of time, all of my vehicles are older, I drive less milage than the average individual, yet my car insurance prices from Allstate went up by 8%--$150.00 more for the calender year of 2016, because,  "this is a good oppurtunity for Allstate to raise their prices".

The reps will tell you all is good with the Pennsylvania insurance commision who(of course) approved of the rate increase, so everything is good and legal.  The CEO of Allstate, Thomas Wilson, likes the rate increase, because, according to financial newspapers and online reports:  "total compensation for Wilson rose 53% to $17.1 million.

Allstate also posted a net income for the same time period of $2.13 billion".   Is this fair to comsumers--especially loyal customers who never had a claim?
