Allstate Insured: Paul Degood
Adjuster: Suzanne Howard and Sherry/Assistant, P.O. Box 5026, Woodland Hills, CA 91367
My wife had a collision in July 2012. Allstate's insured, Paul Degood of Pasadena, CA admitted liability. He collided with my wife's small Prius at an intersection where she was stopped. He was texting and did not stop and rear-ended her car while traveling 45 miles an hour. She was stopped at the intersection.
As a result, my wife has severe back and neck injuries and the car was totaled. Allstate Southern California adjuster, Suzanne Howard refused to provide a rental car and paid for the estimated value of the car 30 days after the car was in storage. It was not reparable. My wife had medical costs which were sent to the adjuster via email by our attorney. The adjuster claimed she did not receive them in December 2012 and delayed the claims payment.
And we now have heard the following excuses, (did not receive email from attorney, did not receive medical billing via us mail, the claim is under review, we need more information, adjuster off for two weeks during the Christmas holidays and now the adjuster is off until 2/22/2013) .
I have written to Thomas J. Wilson, CEO of Allstate and have not receive any response whatsoever. Any ideas on how we can get a positive response short of filing a lawsuit? Thanks.

You have an attorney?

If you have an attorney that is supposed to be working for you, then with all due respect why isn't the attorney being more proactive on your behalf? If you are coming to a Public Forum to get advise, perhaps that should be a "red flag" that you need a new attorney.
But one thing most attornies would tell you is that it probably isn't a good idea to go around posting details of your case, especially when it is still open and a lawsuit is a possibility.
