On May 29, 2009, a man by the name of Walter Rice called me to tell me that I got approved for a loan of $87,000.00 to help start-up my business. Mr. Rice told me that he just started with the company and that he was getting everything in order. Mr. Rice told me that I that funds were coming from other lenders and that they try to keep it safe since they are a private group.

Mr. Rice was going to send me 4 pages explaining the payments, bank accounts where the money would be deposit into. At first, the terms of the payments: Mr. Rice told me that I would have to send 1st & last months payments, but since my credit score was so good, that I could just send the 1st payment of $863.00. Mr. Rice told me that I had to send it through Western Union. I told him that I would do a wire transfer and he told me that I couldn't do that due to security reasons. Mr. Rice told me that I had to send the payment to a Robert Thomas in Niagara Falls New York. Mr. Thomas is the District Manager & once the funds are picked up my loan would be placed in my account. 3 days went by and no funds. I tried to contact Mr. Rice and no response. I called for 3 days straight.

I finally got with the Better Business Bureau and looked up Allstream Financial Group. The information I got from them was a F rating, Walter Rice is the principal, phone & fax # was (866) 377-6734, a different website www.AMgen-FG.com, File open date: June 2009, & additional Phone # (860) 616-1347.

I called the Hartford Police dept., and they drove by the address that i gave them. An officer told me he didn't see anything, & maybe it could be inside. The officer informed that I they couldn't do anything since I was out of state & advised me to contact my local police dept. I called and went by the Memphis Police dept and filed a report. I also called Western Union. So far I have not been contacted by Western Union.
