Alpental Roofing Chris Kelly Gwendolyn McHenry Stole our $190,000 and walked away......!!!!!!!!!!! Rockwall Texas

We did not contract Chris Kelley on any kind of construction project but what he did was worse than non performance and theivery!!

Chris Kelley approached our family members  on an investment deal he had in the works.  He is very, very smooth.  He had bank statements and all kinds of hoked up documents to prove he was on the up and up.

The deal was as follows: 

  He was to buy a house in Terrel, TX  which he SAID he already had the option securied at a very reasonable price from an estate.  He was then going to flip the house for a profit and pay us our investment and a interest component.  He SAID he would only need the money for approximate 90 days to flig and sell the property.    The second part of 'the deal' was to buy an abandoned mobel home for approximately $35K and place it on a lot in Caddo Mills,  finish it out and sell it.  (He is now living in that very same moble home).   He had no intention of selling it.

He then convinced my 81 sister, my 69 year sister, myself and few others  to contribute to the deal for a total of $190,000.   None of what he said he was going to do,  happened.  In fact, he lied, fabricated excuses,  lied again and again, pushed us off, and lied again.  When we realized he was a very bad man, he got very angry with us. 

  He never did buy the house in Terrell but he had lots of excuses why not.  He did buy the mobile home and moved into it.  We bought and paid for new cars, new trucks, deposits on a commercial building, and lots and lots of fun things for he and his 9 kids!!   He actually called me numerous times looking for accounting advice.  WHAT a fraud.  This is all out fraud.

When it came time to cash out checks he had post dated....you guessed it.  No money available.   More excuses and now we are prosecuting him and his wife Gwendolyn McHenry.  She is the one who signed the checks!!    Once I found the con artist history of this couple in Washington, Georgia and a few othe places, we knew we should not have listened to his tale.

What ever you do, DO NOT give this man money for ANYTHING.  He is a thief, a con-man and scum of this earth.  Elder abuse is not beyond him in the least.  His wife is just as bad.  

The prosecuter in Rockwall has out case documentation and we are hoping he goes to jail for a long long time.   He is a convicted felon but we did find this until it was too late.
