Alpha and Omega Cremation Center (AKA: Cremation Options, LLC for out of town deaths) has done it again. I only wish I had seen the previous post before they called.

They contacted our funeral home to provide a cremation for a death that occured in the Washington DC metropolitan area. They even signed a contract via fax and agreed to pay within a week. Afgter two months of calling without success, they finally sent a check at the request of the family representative. This check was short by $25.00 and it bounced as well.

So they decided to pay us with a credit card... I probably don't have to say that the card is repeatedly declined. Now the company does not have anyone available to discuss this.

Naturally, we would never hold cremated remains for payment bus we certainly will not deliver them or invest any further service or merchandise until we are paid. The charges are nominal. The lack of honesty and basic theft is what bothers me so.

It is shameful that someone in our chosen profession that handles the most sensitive services available would be so dishonest.
