I purchased the XB700li for $1649.00 on1/19/09, it was poorly packed for shipping. resuling in broken and damaged parts.The worst of it was the handlebar assembly wires, they were left to dangle and rub against metal causing the wires to be expose, less than a month later the bike does not run there is no connections (i quess) im Not a mechanic. And like eveyone eles alpha products blames it on the shipping,they take no resposability. They say i have to ship it back to them at my expense.
And it has to be in perfect condition (Never ridden) ?????? For a refund or a replacment they did not specify what they would do. I have filed a report with the attorney generals office in Iowa but from what ive read it doesnt look like they can do anything for me. I am going to see if i can file a case in small claims court today, I dont have the funds to ship it back to them. Oh how i wish i would have done reserch on this company before i bought from them. BEWARE ALL.... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
