Alpine Alarm Company Product never received - very hateful, unprofessional staff Rifle Colorado

I purchased a battery from Alpine Alarm Company in Rifle Colorado. The item never came. The original purchase was made in December 2008. After several weeks, I contacted them via email and they never responded. Then I contacted them via phone, again no return call. I then sent a fax. Then someone called me but was unable to answer any questions regarding the order. After many excuses from them, which I can document with the emails sent, they informed me the battery was on its way. Still no battery. When I contacted another company and asked them about the battery that Alpine told me was discontinued, they said oh no it is not, it is a popular battery. I ordered it from the other company and received it in 3 days. I contacted Alpine again, and still no resolution to the situation. Not only do they not take care of their customers but they have an answering system that totally lets you know what kind of company they actually are. I to was told the old owner was gone, but my records research doesn't show that at all. The man answering the phone claimed that the bank taking the credit cards didn't release funds to them. Not only are they rude in conversation and on their answering system but they had the nerve to send me a nasty email regarding consumers being rude and impatient. And on top of that they tried to use 911 as part of their excuse for incompetance. I do not recommend anyone using this company! This company is several companies linked together. Do the research so you don't get burned! Does anyone regulate companies that sell alarms? Seems to me like there should be some security measures taken for these kind of companies!
