This man, Hans from Alpine Safety K9 International (www.alpinek9.com) is a rip-off and he is so-called a partner or agent Jinopo German Shepherd Breeder.
He offered me a puppy for USD$1600 and yet offered nothing but INSULTS when I asked more for confirmation videos and photos after paying deposit.
There was no service provided from him except for asking money and complaints about his so called partner breeder, Jinopo in Czech Republic. Then, after paying $500 for deposit, I had to contact the breeder to ask for more information about my puppy.
Jinopo offered a puppy with the same quality for Euro 600/USD $900-1000.
All information, puppy and shipment comes directly from Jinopo, Czech Republic. Not from Hans Alpine K9.
Fortunately, with direct emails from Jinopo...I had all the information and confirmations before shipping the puppy.
When I asked for a written health guarantees he offered initially, all he did was asking me to read online! and kept emphasizing that the shipping cost back and forth the breeder is by the buyer. In other words, he is not willing to give any guarantees as promised.
Please be aware of this Alpine K9 International.

Hans' Communication Style

Prager does not exhibit good professional communication skills. If you want to purchase a dog from this individual, be warned- he is unable to conduct himself as a competent professional breeder. Be prepared to be insulted, cursed at, and not shown good customer care. There are other breeders out there of Czech line GSDs. This man needs to learn better communication skills.

Alpine K-9 great dogs

Anyone who complains that their puppy from Alpine K-9 doesnt have a pedigree they do look on pedigreedatabase.com they have all of Alpine's dogs on there. I personally do not use AKC because of the sports I do ie French Ring, Mondio and PSA if you are so concerned about the pedigree look on pedigree database they have all the pedigrees
And people complaining about his guarantees they are the best I have ever seen especially from my friend who has bought 3 dogs from Hanz and all three do not have problems
There are breeders here in the US that have dogs and they ask for way too much especially if the dog comes from a champion line just because you have a puppy from a champion line doesn't mean you'll get a champion every dog is unique.

DNA

There is no way to prove the sire of the dog I bought from Alpine K9 because of the loophole with the sire being in The Czech Republic, AKC doesn't require the DNA for the sire. How convenient.

I bought a dog from the czech republic through Hans at Alpine K9 and she is by far the smartest, healthiest, well imprinted dog I've ever owned or even heard of. I agree Hans is sometimes insulting, but being from a Czech family myself, I know its just the way he is. I also know he is honest, loves dogs and the dog business and has access to the best dogs in the world. Look for my dog "Ouisey" to be world competitor by 2012.

Over the past 6 years, I have purchased 3 dogs (2 trained adults & 1 8wk pup) from Alpine K9 & Jinopo. They are all incredible dogs. The analytical abilities, knowledge & exceptional communication both Hans & Jiri have with a buyer insures you will be pleased with your purchase. I have received all of my dogs papers & DNA testing has been performed. If you have a question, they will answer. I defy anyone to find a better Warranty then the one they offer!
In closing, I can confidently recommend Alpine K9 & Jinopo for your German Shepherd purchase. If you are interested in a purchase, I suggest you call some of their past clients to hear what the real truth is.

Another Rip-off

Zdenek "Hans" Blabla ripped me off with the purchase of a puppy. I also paid $1600 plus $375 shipping for the pup and was told I was getting an AKC registered German Shepherd puppy from the PS blood line. What I got was a pup with no registration papers or pedigree, that was severely malnourished (9 pounds at 10 weeks old), had hookworm, tapeworm, giardia and a bacterial eye infection...another $200 for vet bills in the first 3 days. Came to find out Blabla lost his AKC registration privileges in 1999 for inaccurate recordkeeping and didn't get them back until June 2010. The sire and dam of this puppy have never been registered with the AKC and he can't ever register this pup because it was whelped before his privileges were restored!
Puppy is now 16 weeks old and weighs only 15 pounds and looks like a cat. Ears are spaced very wide, way too small in stature, very small, fox-like head. The veterinarian will now do tests for pituitary dwarfism, a serious genetic defect, which pup appears to have.
Also got the same from Blabla, excuses, then insults and finally threats. I am filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, etc. Still no registration papers even after all this....I never will see them.

I am an owner of ALPINEK9 and partner of Jinopo and I was instrumental in creating Jinopo. ALPINEK9 and Jinopo are more less 2 businesess in one.
All the answers to questions and materials (videos) requested were given to Mr Johan either by ALPINEK9 (North American division) or by Jinopo (Euro - Asian division). Pups ware in foster home for proper socilaization with children in remote location and it took us at Jinopo all day to drive there and to make videos requested on several occasions by Mr Johan. We at Jinopo were not always able to drop everyting at a given moment and drive to get done these videos, that caused some delays to get these videos, but we have done them asap after request was given to us.
PRICE:
Mr. Johan requested special pup specifically selected for his requirements from specific litter. He has recieved such pup. This was a pick of the litter pup from a special litter. There are cheaper pups indeed. But his pup cost $1600+S&H. Which is a price for top quality pup. That is what Mr Johan agreed to and ended to pay and finlay recieved.
I am glad that Mr Johan understands that there was really no problem with the pricing and that he got what ever he asked for from us ALPINEK9/JINOPO
I wish Ms Johan a lots off luck with his pup, her training and his breeding program which we are now helping him to establish with proper advices and hopefully with other pups . I am also very glad that he is happy now with our service.
Sincerely Hans
