The same thing happened to me this company contacted me through carrer builders.com today i received a check for a little over 1,800. and the check looked real fake.
The signature was typed not signed.and where the bank info goes there was just a bank name.Yesterday the company gave me a list of the checks i'm supposed to receive and this one wasn't on it.so i contacted them.then i checked into a company called Qchex.com because the had a welcome note and a thank you for using Qchex check delivery service.

so when i went there they say they do not verify the funds and they recomend 10-15 for clearance from the bank.well then i sent another e-mail stating what i had found out and that i didn't want the check to bounce and come out of my pocket.well you guessed it i haven't heard a word from them.so remember if it is to good to be true then maybe it is.
