My son needed engines for two different vehicles.  We spoke to Salesman-"J" at AM UAP.  The Nissan needed exhaust manifolds (both of ours were broken), and Salesman-"J" told me they would be included with the replacement engine.  I was concerned that the warranty activation is supposed to happen after the engine is installed but within 15 days of arrival. I was told that Salesman-"J" checked with his boss and they would waive the time limit.  At another time I was told by Salesman-"J" that the only thing they really needed for warranty activation was a photo of the odometer.

We ordered both the Nissan engine and the GMC engine with the idea that they would be shipped together.

The Nissan engine arrived with one broken and one missing exhaust manifold.  I called and Salesman-"J" said I needed to send them pictures (as though I was lying).  I sent the pictures and was then told that the engine comes without manifolds (so why make me send pictures?).  The sales literature claims the engines are complete, AND Salesman-"J" specifically promised the manifolds.  We had to buy new ones at NAPA.  This engine hasn't been installed yet because of problems with the other one.

The GMC engine was needed first (and more critical to us), but did not come when promised.  I made several phone calls then suddenly it was being shipped.  We installed it right away (we need the truck).  It has a tinny rattle on the lower end, and the oil pan vibrates badly.  Simply, the engine is defective.  This isn't a warranty thing, this noise happened on the first running of the engine. It came to us defective.  I called AMUAP and spoke to Salesman-"J".  He says they won't consider our problem unless we install a raft of new parts into their engine, none of which address the noise.  Based on their track record, I have no confidence that if I spend $500 on their junk engine they will either replace it OR warranty it.

Bottom line: my son is out $2,100 of his hard earned money because of the dishonest, untrustworthy behavior of this company. Let the BUYER BEWARE!  There are plenty of other used auto part companies out there, why give this one your business?

PS - I noticed in another review of this company that a salesman hung up on the customer.  Salesman-"J" did the same thing to me.  First he demanded to talk to my mechanic, who graciously spoke to him and told him the same thing he told me.  Then when I was on the phone with Salesman-"J", I suggested that the company's reputation was at stake, and he hung up on me.  So there it is, DON'T EXPECT MUCH.
