Amanda Pattison Overpayment scam- Arizona Texas

This individual contacted me via email saying that she is from Canada and her son is coming here for a holiday and wants english and math tuitons. She said they were relocating in a year. We agreed upon an amount and she said she would send me a cashier's check with my money and the living expenses for her son which I should subsequently send via money order to an address that she would provide me with. She sent me $4800 and I deposited it into my account and it was confirmed.

I was about to purchase the money orders when the woman at the post office told me that this is a fraud and that I should wait to see if the check was legitimate or not. The bank said it was legitimate but the minute i started doubting this entire thing i read about the overpayment tutoring scam online and every detail matched. These people pretend to speak in broken english.
