Amazon did the same thing to me. They first told me that my account was being reviewed. Then, after a month, they cancelled my account. I continued to contact them until I finally told them that I was going to consider legal action if they did not resolve my matter. What do they do in return? They tell me they can no longer communicate with me and tell me to contact the legal department.
I faxed over all my documentation 2 or 3 weeks ago and have yet to hear from them. I sent them a message to find out what was happening and they tell me that my funds will be disbursed February 26. I am college student. My parents and I had to find money from other accounts that were supposed to be used for other bills in order to pay for my spring semester. The amount? $1,400.00.
