AMC CREDIT CORP - AMERICA CREDIT CORP This is a personal loan scam!! They require you to wire a "Collateral Payment" or money for an "Insurance Policy" that would pay the loan if I didn't. FT LAUDERDALE Florida

I was contacted by a supposed loan company, saying that I was approved for the amount that I applied for. Once I finally contacted them, I was told that my interest rate was a really good rate, considering my credit, but, I had to send them a "Collateral Payment" that was equal to several months loan payments, or, I could buy an "Insurance" policy for about the same amount as the collateral payment.

We said o.k., we got our money together, by draining our account and borrowing money (yeah, to borrowing money to borrow money!?!?) and I went to the Western Union to send the money, to an indidual, not a company, and in Canada. The Western Union lady refused to send our money, saying that was a scam, and suggested that I do more research before sending my money. So, that night I did just that. All of the reports that I read had the same red flags as my situation - untraceable phone number, untraceable email accounts, and even an untraceable physical address. Obviously we did not send our money. I owe that to the girls at the Western Union that warned us, and I am so thankful that they were aware enough to keep us from sending our money.
