On 1 -11-2014 we purchased a timeshare with Las Palmas, Resort Name: Coco Sunset, in Costa Rica. and annuity (Amerashare) for $ 11,918, plus  additional taxes and fees. We were supposed to receive a check each January for the weeks we leased back to the timeshare company. We received nothing last year. When we called, we were told the company changed hands. When we called again, as another January had passed, and still no check, all the phone numbers were disconnected. #We looked into it, and found out it was a scam, and several people had been victimized by this timeshare company and equity agency. We feel powerless in trying to recoup our money.
