Ameravant SiteNinja.com Misrepresentation, violated agreement, cheated us, kept money, not their problem, no contact Santa Barbara, California

We paid Ameravant $2100.00 to re-design our e-commerce site in July. Michael Kramer misrepresented what their company does - an inferior Wordpress-like platform that did not work with  our e-commerce site. Their flash, links and pages did not work and all fell below the fold of each page. Michael apologized for the innocent mistake about their capabilities but kept our entire $2100.00. He said they would refund us $1,000.00 of our $2,100.00 deposit, which was unacceptable and violated our signed agreement regarding non- fulfillment of the proposed e-commerce re-design - for a smoother and easier sale for our customers.

We did not need to move our already created content to an inferior Wordpress-like platform. We had created our site in HTML and CSS code and our cart in PHP, which works well. Michael had promised he would enhance our site for an easier customer experience for our existing e-commerce site. A month after we signed the agreement, it was clear that their platform was not compatible with our content and did nothing to enhance the flow, and impaired it further. It dropped our content to below the fold of the pages, so it was no longer visible.

Also, their technology did not work with our content. For ex., they replaced our current functional slide show with one that stuttered and did not work. After he received our $2100., I was unable to reach him at all. 4 weeks later, the work had barely started. He told me not to contact him; it was not his problem.
