Amerecord ripoff Hollywood California

After waiting 6+ months for my copyrights on poems to come back the same day I finally recieved them I recieved a letter from Amerecord wanting samples of my work! I at the time was so happy thinking My chance had finally came! So I sent in a few poems I had written, A few weeks later I recieve a letter saying that one of them was outstanding and for the low price of 429.00 They would be more than honored to put it to music for me, OF course I was not ready to pay such a price, So I threw the letter in the trash, Another couple of months pass and they send me another letter about the same poem stating that they really wanted to put this piece to Music, And they were Holding a reserved spot for me to allow them the privilage! I go to get my checkbook thinking they were totally ligit! But My insides was screaming to check it out before paying the installment they had been reduced to asking for! 47.00! I figured 47.00 would be well worth getting someone to start on my work.

But my insides screaming at me still I decide to look them up on my computer And after doing so I find out that there are a bunch of people who has recieved the same letters and some paid the price recieving nothing in return! I want someone to do something about this! How are we suspose to know the ligitamate producers from all of these phony ones! Its so disheartning when You put everything into your work Only to be let down by the fraud of someone wanting nothing but to scam you out of your money! IT makes me feel like Just giving up!

Its really ridiculous that the copyrights office allows this to happen to good honest people! Is there anyone who is willing to do something about this And other company's Such as poetry.com and library of poetry! This is strike 3 for me on the scams! I too fell for the contest and big dinner which my poem would be read at with the so called trophy I had won! Its all scams How do I know when ITs not now??? can anyone tell me PLEASE!!
