I ordered a camera from America cameras.  I should have known the price was too good to be true.  After three days a pushy salesman called to "verify" my order. He said that no cameras come with a battery and up-sold me a battery and bogus warranty.  After two weeks and no camera or tracking number, I called customer service.  They are very hard to get ahold of. They said that it had just shipped and I got a tracking the next day. The camera arrived a few days later.  The viewfinder was broken. There was no warranty and the battery was just the standard battery that came from the manufacturer so the little spiel about cameras not coming with a battery is a complete scam.  It was also clear that the camera had been previously opened and taped shut with some masking tape.  I called and complained. They  told me I was mistaken and the product had been shipped from the manufacturer, Panasonic, and I could call them and verify this.  I did and the manufacturer said that they had not shipped the product - they go through retail only.  Oh and Panasonic gives the same warranty they sold me so their warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on.   They try and tell you that they will give you a longer one for free, but this is just a lie because it would never be honored.  When I asked for my money back, they told me they would charge me a 15 percent restocking fee.  I told them this was unacceptable and I filed a dispute with my credit card company.  They did pay for the product to be shipped back.  After many wasted hours and nearly two months, I finally got my money back in full with the help of my credit card company.  This company is a complete fraud and is not a legitimate business.  Do not order from them.
