What I really can't understand is how the executives at AOL can justify spending the members money, on expensive TV network & media advertising, designed to attract new members, when they can't adequately handle the technological needs and demands of the existing membership database.
I think that even though I'm on AOL (NOT as my source into the Internet), that since their inception, they haven't had as much as one single week go by, without some kind of E-Mail server problem.
I think that at best, AOL's commensurate with a BETA service; and I think that something should be done, to justify the "premium service" fees that AOL's charging alll of us. Either close down, for a week or two, and fix everything. OR, refund everyone all the money that the members have paid, since, as mentioned before, AOL's really a Beta service.
You may call me, at 215/287-0400, if you'd wish to discuss this.
I couldn't even get a street address for their corporate address, when I called customer service. All that they gave me was the PO Box, listed below.

Having purchased a "Dell Computer" at Christmas 2003, Dell Corp. gave me 6 mths of AOL internet service for "free". After that 6mths I did not want the AOL service BUT they charged my VISA card for $23.90 without my consent. I call AOL to complain and ask for a credit to my credit card. They said that they could not credit my card and also i would be charged another $23.90 for the month August. They also said that "Dell" had ordered it for me and gave my card number to them.
I contacted Dell Computer by phone and they told me that they would not and had not ordered the service for me. I now am writing letters to AOL's corporate office at America On Line 22000 AOL Way, Zulles, VA. 20166 to lodge a complaint and ask for my $47.80 that I have been charged.
I will also write "Dell Computer corporate office", Bank of America (administrator of my VISA card) and also the FCC (federal communications committee)
