America On Line 3 months & still trying to cancel AOL account I've given up and hired a lawyer Internet

After 3 long months and a phone log-in time of over 20 hours of being put thru phone menu mazes and lengthy "on-holds" and being hung-up on by dirty AOL scuzbags.

I've given up and hired a lawyer to file a "cease & desist" order against AOL stealing money from my credit card acct. at this time however, my lawyer advised me to call and insist on speaking to a manager and making sure they put a note in my acct stating that no more funds are to be withdrawn from my acct.

And if such funds are drawn anyway that legal proceedings will begin with me & my lawyer going to the local courthouse to file a civil suit against AOL.

Of course they reassured me that my account was canceled and that no more funds would be withdrawn. yea sure, we'll see at the end of this month when my credit statment comes in!

My best advise to all aol victims is to cancel your credit or bank acct. However aol may bite you once more because of the required 30 days it takes in order to close, but at least you've squeezed off the pipeline that these sleazy b!@#$%^'s seem to be making a living off of!!!
