America Online Rip-off billing practices Dulles Virginia

I want to throw my name into the long list of people who have been ripped-off by Aol. I was a customer of their's and I was on a small user type program, because I really didn't use the Internet all that much. That change when I became unemployed and had alot more free time on my hands.

My complaint with them is they fail to inform you as to how much you are adding up to your bill, until all of a sudden I get billed on my credit card, over $100.00 They never let me know that this was adding up to that kind of money, all they did was inform me that I was over my alloted hours, but I had no idea whatsoever, what date those hours even started. To bill someone over $100.00 for using the Internet, when you bill others just $19.95, is pure and simple stealing.

The fact that they have no cap on these accounts is unethical, and fraudulent. Then after I cancelled, I get billed again the next month for another $100.00. Thats $200.00 for two months worth of Aol service. That is a joke, a rip-off, and a con.
