I recieved a phone call at 3pm Saturday 11/26/05 from "Harry Foster" a nice Irish (I mean Indian accented with an Irish last name) He tried to manipulate me into giving him my checking account number so that the "government" could deposit a check of $12,500 into my account because I had been "approved" to receive a GRANT due to the congressional law stating "that tax payers who've accumulated paid taxes are entitled to money back from the government to be used for education, home improvements, business improvements etc.

It truly sounded legit, but I would not give him my account number. Although he was so difficult to understand and I had to keep asking him to repeat himself so I could write everything down. Oddly enough, when I asked him to send everything to me in writing, because if this was truly my money, I wouldn't need to get it right at the moment; he told me that I couldn't get anything in writing until I gave him the account number and we made a taped conference call.

Meanwhile my husband kept telling me to hang up the phone and was really getting annoyed with me. Then I had Harry inform my dad of the reason for his call to see what he thought about Harry.

While he was on the phone, I called my bank, spoke to the manager and had her conference with Harry. She flat out told me that she'd never heard of anything like this and she would advise that he'd send info in writing first.

Still while on the phone with Harry I google searched American Advantage and Harry gave me the website advantageamericabenefits.com (no www) Up came a nice site that I didn't have time to look into.

Thankfully I was having a party and my guests were arriving so I couldn't not look into the company so I told Harry to call back on Monday. He said he would at 7pm. 7pm I thought why would he call back after hours? When I went to be last night, I asked the Lord for discernment not to be scammed, although a free $12,500 would be nice.

Today I just google searched (american advantage Winterpark, FL) and up came this site!

Whoever said prayer doesn't work is dead wrong!! God does care even about the little things. And he hears our every thoughts, concerns and only wants good for us. Thank you God that I didn't get scammed and I pray that conviction would come to these dishonest people. Let your judgement be against them not mine, for "vengence is yours". But may they come to know the wrong they are doing and be convicted of it. If Harry does call me back give me the wisdom and words to speak life into his desparate dishonest heart and soul.

Thank you Rip off report.com
