I and several of my peers have been sent spam by "Greg." They scan the web to take emails from websites, looking for small business owners. Business Owners: Never pay anyone to file an SBA loan! Legitimate banks will help you through the process for free. The SBA.gov website has step-by-step help, free. Banks and credit unions will not charge you upfront fees! Any organization charging "progress" or other upfront fees is likely a sleazy fraud. Don't use any "finance" or "capital" company for SBA loans, go directly to your credit union or bank! If you get help such as with financial projections or a business plan, get a Scope of Work with all costs identified up front, signed by all parties, with no additional cost clause.
