Hello,
I ordered a floor from Home Depot and I also had them come out to measure my condo and they had American Carpet South do the install on March 6th,2016 and as the installers were looking for the transition pieces they noticed That Home Depot ordered the wrong pieces they had me call Home Depot and let them know the problem then the installers called their boss and let him know about the problem and the installers siad we will take care of this and when it comes in we will go pick it up and finish the install.
I have called American Carpet South faithfuly and no one wants to take my calls anymore because they have no answer for me, when someone does answer they have no idea what i am talking about so they start lying to me or put me on hold for quite sometime or tell me the person I was working with Quit I was told that a couple times. They have sent 5 or so people to my home and they all say I know what needs to be ordered I will take care of this and they never return again. So needless to say my floor is not finished but all paid for they gladly took my money and did not finish the contract. One very dissatified X customer who wants her floor completed!!!!

I am employee in the flooring dept. of a Home Depot for 11 years. This is not an unusual situation about the transition piece in the doorway. The product which is originally ordered is what is anticipated for the job. Sometimes they just won't work. You needed to talk to the COS , at the Home Depot you purchased from, who deals with flooring issues after the fact. That person will speak with the install company and find out what exactly is needed. They will get it ordered, pay the install company an additional trip charge, and have it taken care of. You deal with the store and not the install company. Unfortunately you have written this complaint in their name and you should not have.
