American Cash Awards - Family Subscriptions Magazine subscription door to door soliciting Golden Colorado

Door to door solicitors sold me a subscription for a magazine claiming that buy subscribing they would get points which would eventually translate to some sort of money form to pay for college. They said I didn't even have to buy something, I could just cancel my subscription within the cancellation period and they would still get their points, so I decided to help them out and make a subscription. I ordered the magazines on a Friday. Then the next day I emailed them with my photo copied image of my receipt signed in all the appropriate places to fulfill cancellation requirements. They never responded. Monday, 2 business days later, I postmarked the receipt to be delivered overnight by the 3rd business day (the company only required the receipt to be postmarked on the 3rd business day following the purchase for cancellation to be valid as according to the statement on the back of the receipt). I decided to just pay a little extra for the immediate delivery to make sure that they got it and didn't try to pull something by saying it wasn't delivered by the 3rd business day. However, nonetheless, my checks were cashed a week or so later, and no one on their "customer service" team ever contacted me despite the emails I wrote both through my email service, and their website comment box.
