Two young men speaking very loudly, quickly and making jokes a million a minute came to my house. I only opened the door because i was expecting a friend. They tried to sell me magazines to earn a trip to europe,no prices marked anywhere just points. Said i didnt need any magazines nor did anyone i knew. Told me i could donate magazine to charity, his mother was a cancer survivor.
Prices were outrageous. No matter what I said, I could not get rid of these guys. They were 2 feet from my open door. Unrelenting sales pitches.
Finally to get rid of him, i got espn for $55 and just found out a subscription should cost $26!! Have until 12/21/06 to cancel but couldnt get thru to phone for 2 days. Can not leave msg. Unable to get thru to email. Recording now says office closed for poor weather.
Reading the back of contract it says you have
to mail a copy of cancellation to CO in 3 days....which is impossible as its around xmas. **Note they did ask a lot of personal questions but just deflected those.***
I got sucked in, so please avoid the same mistake. Will try to cancel again tommorrow, if their office ever opens! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

I had some kids from Great Lakes Circulation and Face To Face Technologies come to my door a few months ago, and it's true they were persistent, but they weren't rude. They said that they were trying to earn points in the American Cash Award Program. I bought a magazine but then I decided to cancel it. I read the back of the receipt, and followed the directions. All I had to do was mail them one of the copies of my receipt, and get the envelope post marked in 3 business days. It was easy. I did have to send them a copy of my cleared check, but I got my refund in about a month. I was satisfied with Great Lakes Circulation and American Cash Award.
