I have donated to ACLJ multiple times but never contatcted to ask for donation. They do not solicit donations by robot call or harrassment. I have dealt with scammers who harrassed my mother the same way Barbj described. In my own experience with ACLJ and scammers, in my opinion, she has been a victim of a scammer using ACLJ as thier cover. This has happened before when scammers willl use different entities to scam and harrass people..they have used the IRS for an example to harass folks to give money. If Barbj has never called them or had any dealing with ACLJ...I highly doubt she has been contated by them.

Actually it is the ACLJ that is harassing people with constant robocalls and hangup calls from several different fake spoofed numbers and no messages left.  They started calling me in March.  I found their toll free number and entered my number to be removed (twice I called that number, which is only a recording).  Then in early April I started getting bombarded with their robocalls, sometimes twice in 2 or 3 hours.  The caller ID said "ACLJ" or "Am Law Justice" above the fake number.

Today when I got a second call in 4 hours, I picked up to see if they'd hang up.  I usually don't answer since it's an unlisted landline I mostly use just for Internet and did not give them permission to call and don't know how they managed to get my number.  This time I was furious with the harassment, so I picked up.  I actually got a human this time after their autodialer connected.  He identified himself as being with ACLJ and wanted to know what I thought were the most "important issues".  I told him I wouldn't answer because they've been harassing me with robocalls.  I said I didn't know how they got my number, but to remove me immediately.  The fake number that showed up was 818-452-0684.  The other numbers they've been calling from are 760-946-6800 and 951-289-4382.  This is indeed the ACLJ harassing people every day, sometimes a few times a day - people who never donated and never will and who never gave their number to these harassers.  I believe in their cause, but this harassment is over the line.  If they want my opinion or want to ask for donations, they can email me or send something in postal mail.  If they call me again, I'm filing a complaint with my attorney generall and will be contacting a lawyer as well.

the aclj has always been there for everybodies rights. I believe it is a scamer using there name. I used to donate and when times got hard and I stopped they never asked again. aclj accepted no as no.
