American Century Financial ripoff, another bad debt loan scam New York New York

This is the email that I received from American Century Financials:

"Thank you for applying for a loan online through American Century Financial. After carefully reviewing your application, we were able to approve your loan requested amount of $5,000. There are details that must be finalized before this is disbursed to you. Please contact your loan consultant Mr. Brian Claire toll free at 1-888-416-9279 ext. 139.

Upon calling this number, I spoke to Mr. Claire who told me that they had approved me for a personal loan. The amount would be $5,000 on a 5 year note at 7% interest with $98.77 per month payments. The catch was that I had to pay 7 months in advance in the amount of $691.39. At this point I asked Mr. Claire if they were from Canada and if this was just another scam. For some reason, Mr. Claire acted like we lost connection, although I could here him just fine!! I have been unable to contact him since that time. He will not answer the phone, messages left, or emails.

Watch out! This is another scam! They are preying on people in hard times!
