In December of 2006, I was contacted by this company regarding toners for our printers. At first, I decline because I have a general rule not to purchase from telemarketers, but they kept calling and the deal that they gave me sounded pretty good. The deal that I received was for two toner for the price of one. The representative also told me that my account will be closed after they receive payment and I would not be obligated to make any further purchases from their company.

When the toners came, we weren't able to use them right away but when we did, the quality sucked. The toners did not print evenly so there were parts on the paper were the ink was missing or faded. Even though the toner did not work correctly, I didn't call to complain or trade them in because I didn't actually need high quality prints on this printer and I didn't want to go through the trouble.

Well, about two weeks ago, a representative called me and told me that they were going to send out another toner as a thank you for my previous toner. I assume that the 3rd toner was a free gift. After I received the toner, I got an invoice for $315.21! The 3rd toner itself was $250 and they were charging me $44.58 for shipping/handling within California!

I immediately called customer service and was told that I needed to talk to the salesperson who made the order, but he was in a meeting and would have to call me back. I never received a call from him. After a couple of days, I called again and when I refused to have someone call me back, they connected me with Anthony in customer service who told me that even though he wasn't the salesperson I spoke with before he can still help me. (So why couldn't they help me before?)

I tried to explain to him that I was not aware that I would have to pay for this 3rd toner, but he kept saying that it was part of the deal for my previous purchase. I was getting a little annoyed that he kept saying that I KNEW I had to pay for it because all their sales rep. read from a script even though I told him over and over about the first agreement and that the salesperson never said anything about prices or tell me that I would be obligated to pay for the 3rd toner.

Well, after talking with him for a while and getting more annoyed because he was being rude to me, he finally says he's willing to help me by knocking off 30% of the invoice, which I told him was not OK because I'm not paying for something I did not order. We spoke a little bit more until he finally says that he'll send a call tag for the toner and then he hung up on me!!

I was so upset at how rude their customer service representatives are that I imediately called back to talk to his manager only to find that he is the manager! When I asked him to fax over a statement saying that my account is truly closed and that I wasn't liable for payment on this invoice, he would not do it! He kept saying that the company will send me an official letter saying that my account has been closed and hung up on me again! There's nothing else I can do except wait and see if the letter comes.

To anyone who's reading this, if you are contacted by this company, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE! They are very unprofessional and rude. You may think that you are receiving a good bargain the first time they contact you, but for the quality of the product, the customer service you receive, and the time you spend trying not to get ripped off, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

I have also fallen victim to this company, and would like all those who have dealt with them to file an official report with the Better Business Bureau. They have an "F" rating right now, and I believe they should be shut down! If anyone else has had this experience, I urge you to file an official report!
