American Credit Services Group They try to scare you into giving them money Anaheim California

I also have had dealings with a company similar to the ones that have been described. They left a message on my phone saying it was very important to contact them or have my attorney contact them in regards to a personal matter and if I didn't they wished me good luck. When I did contact them they told me they were a "back door" legal department for a company called Quick Cash or Fast cash and that I had an outstanding payday loan from a year ago. They were contacting me to let me know that this company was getting ready to charge me with 3 different felony charges so that I could be arrested and end up paying them over $5,000 dollars if I didn't send them $745.33 immediately. At first it scared me but I got to checking on the internet to see if I could find this so called company. There was no listing for American Credit Services Group. I searched the phone number that they gave me to call back and it just showed up a landline in Anaheim, CA. When I called the number back to get more information I was told not to call that number any more and they gave me a different number to call. Each time I spoke to someone different but always the man had an Indian accent that was very difficult to understand. I called them again yesterday to try to get an address or any more info and they wouldn't give it to me. They just said to have my attorney call and they would fax him all the info. I'm not sure what to do next. They said this was from a loan that was deposited into my bank account in March 2008. I checked with my bank and nothing was deposited that month from any payday loan company. But they had all of my information, address, phone number, last 4 of the social and bank account number. I feel better now since I read the rip off report. Everytime I asked for them to send my info on the original creditor they just changed the subject. I hope this helps someone else so nobody else falls for this scam
