American Express Publishing Company Deceptive "Membership" Scam New York, New York

My American Express bill had a mysterious $99.95 charge for "AEPC Member Services, SG Exec Services."  Apparently, without my knowledge, by responding to a sweepstakes or something like that, and by failing to check a box after the fine print, I signed up for a membership in American Express Publishing.  They sneaked the $99.95 charge on my credit card bill.  I was able to call the number on the credit card bill and they took it off, but it turns out that I had been charged 89.95 and $99.95 in prior years.  I am now seeking to get those prior payments refunded.  This was a misleading scam.  My advice is never to respond to anything that comes in the mail to you from American Express Publishing.
