American Eye Institute / Vicki Houghton Deposit not returned on wrong Rx or Lenses for New Glasses Los Angeles California

I went in to get my eye's examined by Dr. Hakim of the American Eye Institute who was great and she wrote me a Rx prescription for glasses. 

I ordered my glasses in their office through their eye glasses department Vicki Houghton. I went in to pick up my new glasses and put them on and every thing in the room was 50% more blurred than with these new glasses off. I immediately told Vicki Houghton about this issue and she said I would have to come back on my time and re see the doctor again for another examination and figure out what went wrong.

I called Vicki Houghton this morning and requested my 50% Deposit back of $250.00 and she refused to issue my refund on new glasses that made my vision worse. Vicki Houghton was very unprofessional and repeated I'd have to come back in.

I'm 64 and going to have back surgery soon and then both knees will be operated on and my off time will be extremely limited in which i had told her to heal and they should have got my glasses right the first time but she still refused to issue my deposit back. 

I would not recommend this office if all these services were free.

I will be writing complaints as I got nothing in return for my $250.00 deposit.

I was in business for 28 years in manufacturing printing and if a customer was unhappy with my work I'd offer to redo the job or refund all their deposit. So I know customer service and this representative of American Eye Institute in Los Angeles on 3rd Street had no such compassion what so ever.

I will now move on to reporting this issue to VSP the BBB and the FTC and now Consumer Ripoffs until this matter is resolved.
