I recieved a Call this A.M. The 1st call was at 10:16 A.M. No Caller ID. He called me 2 times . He told me Honey you have won American Family Publishers sweepstakes for, 585 thousand dollars. How do you feel. I said Great if this is not a scam. He kept assuring me was no scam.

He told me when I got the money on the Card that a UPS truck would bring me my Money. In about 30. Minutes after he gets the card with the money.

So I ask him what is it going to cost me to get my Money. He said did I have a Dollar General store Close By. I told him Yes. So he told me to get a Money Gram Express for 300.00 dollars.

I told him I didn't have that kind of money. So he said let me call you right back. This is the 2nd call. Said his boss could do 200.00 Dollars I said my Husband just had his second heard surgery 1st one was 402Thousand Dollars in 09/ This was was in Oct it is 341 thousand. I don't have any money. So he ask if I could put it on a Debit or Credit card. I told him I didn't have one.

So he said I call you right back. I called the police and I still havent seen one.

So he called back the 3rd time was 11:13 said was I able to do any less So I told him Oh I can do 20.00  He said can you do 20:00 more I told him yes. So I ask him his name That is when he said Jack Miller He was in Washington D.C. The phone # was 1-707-412-0424.  So I prented to go to Dollar General store get the card. So I called 1411 ask for a Number to American Family Publishers. no #. Then I got on the Internet and the Domane is for sale. I called him back gave him a fake # for the card he said I will call you back in a minute. So that was the 4 or 5th call. Told me to take the card back to Dollar General store and make them Exchange it for the right card. I told him my Husband came and got my car. So I didn't have a way. So He is calling back tonight at 8:00 P.M.

So what do I do when he calls back.

If he calls back...

If you know it's him, don't pick up the phone. If you do pick up the phone & it's him, hang up. This is a very common, widespread scam.
