i have been paying into this insurance for 8 months. im never sick. i get sick go to the hospital to find out i have gallstones and my gallbladder needs to be removed. so we set up appointment to have the surgery. the day before the appointment i get a call from the hospital stateing that my insurance wont pay for the surgery. i call the insurance company they say they will onlt pay $3000 max the surgery cost $13000 so i have to come up with $10000 in order to have the surgery.
i asked them about my coverage in the beginning and they made it sound as if they were going to cover most of the expenses so that i would get the insurance. instead i have to pay 80% and they pay 20%. now i cant get out of the insurance until open enrollment which is in december. i'm being made to pay for something that is no benefit to me. guess what its a bigg fatt rip-off.
