American Health PACA - American Health Benefits - American Health Preyed upon when sick and in need of Insurance. Dallas Texas

Last year I was laid off and couldnt afford COBRA, so I went looking on line for affordable insurance - well low and behold I struck upon American Healther Benefits!!! So, I filled out the form and then I was inundated with phone calls everyday 5 -6 times a day - so I finally relented and signed up. I never received anything from them to confirm I had insurance. I didnt give it much thought. In fact it had slipped my mind, and I had gotten a job that offered insurance I did not give it a second thought!! What I fool I was! I blame myself as well as them. I NEVER check my bank statement -NEVER. However, last week for some reason I was going over it and saw a deduction for 119.00 to AMERICAN HEALTH /PACA. So I called my bank and had them stop any further deductions and filed a claim against them. I couldnt find anything on line for them at first - but I kept digging and came upon thier web site with a toll free # - FAT JOKE that is, I stayed on hold for 25 min!!! I finally hung up and sent a scathing email to their email account. WELL that got thier attention and I got a call from Rodney. He played a voice recording of me (?) accepting the deduction of the initial fee of 149.00 from my checking account - it soulded like me and I was so shocked to find out that I had been enrolled since 5-08 and that they had been taking money out since that time!!!!!! FRAUDS, FRAUDS, FRAUDS!!! I NEVER USED THEIR SERVICES (whatever they maybe) and never received any emails or mail from them - how can they get away with stealing like this???? Because they prey on people like me with chronic illness' in desperate need of insurance. I pray they have a class action suit filed against them and are made to repay all of the people they RIPPED OFF!!!!
