American Home Mortgage Services Inc AHMSI and AHMSI3 AHMSI needs to be investigated and their business practices put to a stop!! How can a company foreclose on your home WITH NO NOTICE? This Company has lied, laughed I run us around. Irving , Texas

Can you imagine telling your children youve lost your home? No wait, weve worked something out alls good. Stop packing. Sorry boys, they sent our check back, we really didnt have anything worked out at all, start packing again. Hey, weve hired a law firm/foreclosure consultant group we found on the HUD website, they say all will be O.K. in 30 days. Guess what? That group we hired? Well, they couldnt help after all. Start packing we now have to be out of our home by Sept. 18th.

 When the economy started going south and gas prices were so high, my husband called American Home Mortgage Services Inc. for help. He was then convinced to sign a new mortgage agreement that made our house payments half of his monthly salary. Can you say predatory lending? Somewhere in all of this my name was removed from being authorized to gain information on the account. When asking them how that was possible no one could tell me. Of course he couldnt quite keep up with the payments and then he lost his job he had for 30 years.

When he tried to bring our account current, he called AHMSI and was told a figure to send them. He did this. They then retuned the money with a form letter saying that he made no prior arrangements or the funds were not in the form of a certified check. The bottom of the form said that our account was submitted for foreclosure in 2007. What???? Suffering from depression after his job loss he took no further action. When I found out the state of our mortgage in April, I started making phone calls to the mortgage company. One Gentleman (And I use that term loosely) told me to pay the entire balance of my loan or to get out. He then laughed at me and asked if there was anything else he could do.

After checking with my bank I called back in and spoke with Sonya and she made payment arrangements with me. I faxed her a copy of the certified check and overnighted it to them. She also said it would take 14 days to correct. Calling back in to check on the account, I was given the run around.

One person told us that the system would process by close of business on the 8th so to call back on the 12th to verify that. We did and then were informed that their attorney filed a change of deed yesterday!

After even more run around from AHMSI, we went to the HUD website and entered our information on the help now feature. We were contacted and hired the National Foreclosure Consultant Group which was a joke. Now we are being forced from our home. How can a mortgage company make arrangements twice and then not honor those? How can they tell me that its processing and then have their attorney file a change of deed? How does my name get removed and no one can tell me why? How can they foreclose and then sell my home to the REO department with absolutely no notification? I have asked for our account history with no luck. This needs to end! American Home Mortgage Services Inc should not be allowed to treat their customers in the manner we have been! This company along with The National Foreclosure Consultant Group should not be allowed to continue doing business this way.
