American Home Mortgage Services/Homeward Residential SCAMMERS....GAVE ME A LOAN MODIFICATION AND THEN AFTER 5 MONTHS PAYING THE NEW MORTGAGE AMOUNT THEY TOOK IT AWAY! Internet

American Home Mortgage Service/Homeward Residential is the biggest scam artists I have ever seen.  I have been dealing with this horrible company for 2 years trying to obtain a loan modification for my home. 

They finally presented me with a loan modification payment plan in February 2012, that was much lower for me to handle, and then after making 5 months of payments in the new lower amount each month....they told me it was just a trial period. 

Then they had the nerve to tell me that for each payment I made from February 2012 to July 2012, they applied it to the payments I could not make (due to the high amount) from September 2011 through November 2011.  They decided to take two months worth of my February 2012 & March 2012 payments and applied it to September 2011, then April 2012 & May 2012 and applied it to October 2011, then June 2012 and applied that to half of November 2011. 

This was all done by this mortgage company without my permission or knowledge.  I have written them several times, I have written letters to the FTC, I have emailed this company, left messages, faxed them, etc. on several occasions.  But with no response.  I still do not know where I stand on my mortgage situation. But I do get notices from them from time to time in regards to foreclosure on my home.

I could go on all day describing everything this company has done to me, but there is just too many things that took place.  I will say though, after this happened, they actually told me now my application expired and I would have to start from scratch all over again!  Does anyone know how much paperwork that is involved with that process?  They actually lost my whole entire very first application for a loan modification 2 years ago, and I had to re-apply. So now this would have to be my third! I refused!

I am trying to do the right thing and obtain help, so that I may pay my mortgage on time but with a bit of a financial break while doing so.  I am not trying to avoid my mortgage, or run away from bills.....I just want to be able to pay my debts honestly and legally. 

Unfortunately, due to some bad turn of events in my life, I have found myself single, a struggling working mom, and in need of some assistance.  All I received from this mortgage company is deceit, and a thick file that I possess of every stitch of paperwork I have saved written, received, and sent....that I could have saved a few trees. 

I have grown exhausted from this journey, and I was the one who contacted them asking for ways to pay my mortgage when I began to struggle.  I was trying to figure out ways to survive, and not lose my home.  I didn't want to run away from the situation either.  I realize there are people who just avoid the notices, letters, and calls from their bill collectors....I didn't want to be one of those people.  I stood up, thought I was taking control of my financial fate...only to be let down two long years later.

I do not believe I will get any results from this site or any site at this point.  It seems as if I am alone in this fight!  I cannot afford to hire an attorney, although I most likely need one. 

How does this happen to honest, hardworking people?  And companies like AHMS/Homeward Residential get way with scamming homeowners!  Please if anyone out there has an idea on what can possibly be done....PLEASE reach out.  I will take any suggestions at this point!
