My wife and I moved into our house in Yoark pa. We went with a home warrenty company since our heater was old. When the heater died last month we contacted the company who made us pay $60.00 for one of their heating and plumbing people to look at the heater. They claimed it was damaged by water, and not covered by the warrenty. I hired my own heating and air company who said the heat exchanger was cracked from old age , and had nothing to do with water. We have a dry basement and have never had any problems with that. I can't belive they sent us a letter wanting us to renew the policy.
