American Log Cabin Homes ripoff lied not delivered in full good not as stated miss calculated standard below samples wormholes rot stained unplained paid precut it was not not refunded sales people left company Rocky Mount North Carolina

ordered and paid in full for a log cabin home custom built. it arrived sandwiched in the container. It took 2 days to get it CAREFULLY out. The roof was not compleately delivered rafters short. 1000sq feet missing on the snow and ice (the roof!)They miscalculated.

The roof sheathing was short and what we got had stains. the other wood wasn't the quality i was shown. roof nails and washers missing. Rot in the logs. found worm holes! Some were unplained others very deep cracking. Some had full lenth with lage cracks and deep, Bark left on the wood. inaccurate cutting. paid for pre cut(it was not when delivered)the builders they recomended and they cut and built it. lock missing, doors incorrect and unable to use. The facia boards were poor quality.

There was not enough calking. I sent pictures and they told me according to the log council that this was exceptable!!!! (i didn't buy it from anyone else only american log cabin. not all the screens on the window fitted. insufficient treated wood for the flooring To which they said, "cut them in half!" even the window handles were short. even the builder wrote me a list. how it got the sanitation certificate. I don't know!!!!and i'm still awaiting the guarentee for the doors and windows etc.......never again
