American Marketing Insurance Leads ripoff, unethical business practices, slamming, do not adhere to contracted results. Beverly Hills California

This company promises to provide 8 annuity or insurance leads each week, 72 during the course of the contract. They obtain their leads, allegedly, through "warm" sources, such as web sites, as well as "cold" sources, i.e. telemarketing efforts.

All of the leads they provided to me were obtained through direct telemarketing. I visited 20 prospects during the course of our contract. Every lead complained to me about the telemarketing tactics of this company. 100% of all the leads provided to me were hostile leads and I spent all my time trying to calm down the prospects. I NEVER got to the "kitchen table presentation", as they suggest.

Here are examples of the complaints I received from the prospects: "Telemarketer was pushy," "I never agreed to an appointment," "They were intimidating," "The did not announce who they were," "They did not leave a contact number," "They called and immediately said, 'someone will be there tomorrow,' but I [the prospect] had no idea what for," and the list goes on and on. In one case they even misrepresented themselves as me, even though I had specifically asked them not to do this.

I had asked repeatedly for copies of scripts that they use so that I could approve what they were telemarketing. They said they would, but never provided them. I also asked for a refund when it became obvious that they could not fulfill their contract with me. Again, they said they would but I have never received it. Whatever you do, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company! They will rip you off!!
