The printed copy of the mortgage was not as represented by the sales rep. When we called on this the difference, it was "corrected" but there were others differences that I did not catch. This is a simple Bait and Switch operation which would be correctable if they were the loaning agency, but the mortgage is promptly sold before all the tricks have been detected. The loan buyer is not responsible for the agreement I have signed so there is no recourse.

There is much boilerplate and reading it carefully is not something one does when there is an element of trust. The BBB gives them an A+ rating (even though there were 19 complaints). These were all listed as resolved, but of course the problem has been "resolved" by being passed on to the mortgage holder.

The mortgage was presented as a new ARM with a 5 year FIXED rate of 3.5% which, was actually written as Variable at the market rate, and an early payoff PENALTY inserted. There were other differences I caught that were explained as typographical errors but were "corrected." The fixed interest was not a fixed rate and I did not catch it.

The salesman was Vince LoStorto, residing in Mesa AZ. The company owner at that time was listed as Linda Steele by the BBB. The current company web page does not list any of the company officers. I would caution anyone dealing with this company.
